This is a scene from the City of Refuge (Big Island, Hawai'i). One of the most spiritual places on earth, reaching this sanctuary was the only hope of forgiveness and life, in the ancient days of the Hawai'ians. As we enter a new Century, and a new Millennium, already marked by the horrors of which mankind is capable, let us hope for a better world, where Peace and Love replace killing and hatred as a daily way of life.
