adj 1. Characterized by or in a state of orderliness, tidiness, and cleanliness.

2. Free from sloppiness, vagueness, or embellishment; precise.

3. Ingeniously done or said; clever; a neat trick.

4. Free from admixture; undiluted, as liquor.

5. Remaining after all deductions; net.
