Boys Playing (Somewhere in Istanbul)

This was taken in 1986. You can tell from the homes, this is a very ancient part of old Istanbul. In this image, local boys are playing a very dangerous game on this wall, as others seemingly pose for the camera. Sadly, many of the homes you see here were reduced to rubble in the great earthquakes of the mid-1990's. Especially the homes on the sloping hills in the distance... all destroyed, thousands killed. But this image is from more peaceful times.
