Mt. Haleakala, Mau'i

This is a sign very near the top of Mt. Haleakala, one of the world's highest-altitude volcanoes. The air is so thin that the grass becomes a pale green. The Mau'i cows don't seem to mind, though. It is getting foggier now as we drive into the clouds.
