The hike up is quite interesting, and lots of fun. But it also can be quite exhausting in the Hawaiian mid-day heat.

At the top, after a nearly vertical final climb up metal stairs, one emerges to a beautiful view back towards all of Waikiki Beach, the city of Waikiki and beyond.    (See the pink hotel?)

Head north up the East Coast, to Chinaman's Hat
