ODE TO THE HORIZON
Internationally acclaimed sculptor Eduardo Chillida created this wonderful tribute to the horizon: Elogio de Horizonte. This massive work stands atop a hill which overlooks the sea below as well as the historical fishing village, Cimadevilla. Literally just below the grassy surface of the Cerro de Santa Catalina park are old military barracks, with parts of the old walls and bunker doors visible as one walks along this charming park with so many beautiful views.
