Here is the view one earns after climbing the narrow spiral staircase to the top of the belltower at St. Vitus, an incredible church in its own rite, within the Castle (Hrad) complex of Prague. That venerable bridge, built in the 12th Century, is Karlův most, or the Charles Bridge. Now teeming with tourists, it connects the Castle (Hrad) district to the new and old city.
