This impressive building is Týn Church, looming over Prague's Old Town Square (Staromëstské námëstí) . Built in the 14th Century it was a testament to the Hussites.
The Hus monument is nearby (to the left). Directly across the Square is the Old Town Hall with its astronomical clock (orloj).
Awesome to see, especially from a distance, this is an example par excellence of Gothic style, while some of the church's
interior design also reflects the Baroque influence. Its towers, with baubles and spires and assymetrical presentation are also
quite sensational when lit up at night.
